eprint.et (printet.tec.et, vendorprintet.tec.et, adminprintet.tec.et, and the eprint.et Android apps) is a print marketplace operated from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.
Information we collect
- Account data: name, email, phone, and password hashes handled by our auth provider.
- Orders: delivery address, cart contents, artwork files you upload, and payment method.
- Vendor shop details, including bank or wallet accounts you publish so customers can pay you.
- Device data needed to run the website and apps (logs, crash information, approximate region).
Payments and bank statements
Cash on delivery does not send card data to us. For bank transfer we show receiving accounts that the platform or a vendor saved in settings. You may send a transaction reference or a receipt screenshot. We verify that payment against the bank through Mela (verifypayment.tec.et). Mela reads the bank's own record (payer, amount, date, receiver). We store the verification result with your order. We do not store your internet-banking password.
How we use data
We use this information to create accounts, produce and deliver print jobs, confirm payment, prevent fraud, and contact you about an order. We do not sell personal data.
Sharing
Print vendors assigned to your items see the artwork and job details they need to produce the order. Payment verification is sent to Mela with the bank code, reference or image, expected amount, and account suffix or wallet phone of the receiving account. Hosting, storage, and email providers process data on our behalf.
Retention
Order, payment, and artwork records are kept for as long as needed for fulfillment, accounting, and dispute handling, then deleted or anonymized.
Your choices
You can update your profile, request a copy of your data, or ask us to delete your account. Deleting an account removes login access; invoices we must keep for tax law may be retained in anonymized form. Email hello@printet.tec.et to request deletion from the Android apps or the website.
Children
eprint.et is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their data.
